The bookings for MG eZS electric SUV have reportedly commenced across select dealerships. The E-SUV will only be available in five cities initially.
Ahead of the grand unveil on 5th December, the bookings for the MG eZS electric SUV have already commenced. Reports say that, at select dealerships, you can book it now a token of Rs 50,000.
MG’s second offering is the eZS, which is also India’s second electric SUV. eZS will be available in five cities only Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. These cities are in the process of getting fast-charging stations from MG.
The official bookings for eZS are supposed to commence from the first week of December, after the unveil. At that time, the tech specs and features will be revealed, whereas the prices are likely to come out in January 2020.

Powering the eZS, is a 45.2 kWh electric motor, that produces 150 BHP and 350 Nm of peak torque. The total driving range expected is around 350-400 kms. Along with this, MG is also going to offer a seven-year warranty on the car and the lithium-ion battery pack.
The feature list of MG eZS could include a touchscreen infotainment system with Hector’s i-Smart technology, voice recognition, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, satellite navigation, projector headlamps and much more.
The electric SUV will enter the Indian market through the CKD route. It will be assembled at MG’s plant in Halol, Gujarat. MG Motors has already hinted the price expectation of eZS, which should be around Rs 25 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It will definitely undercut the price of Hyundai Kona.

Meanwhile, it is reported that MG might also bring the ICE-powered ZS SUV in India. Leaked documents show the MG ZS with a petrol and a petrol-hybrid engine being imported in India. If it is actually launching in India, expect it to go against the likes of Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the sub-15 Lakh range.
