Kawasaki has reportedly stopped the production of BS-4 Ninja 300 now and the BS-6 units might not reach the dealerships before March 2020.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the Japanese’s best selling motorcycle in India. After its prices were reduced in 2018 and ABS being added, its sales boosted up to 300-400 units a month. Now, we get to know that it would not be available in India for some time.
Kawasaki has discontinued the Ninja 300 in the wake of BS-6 norms. The manufacturer had earlier stated that they cannot meet BS-6 norms within the deadline. So, the BS-6 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is likely to make its debut post-April 2020.
In 2018, the prices of Ninja 300 were reduced to 2.98 Lakhs, seeing a decrease of more than Rs 50,000. The reason for the price dip was heavy localization done on the sportsbike to make it more affordable. Kawasaki will increase the prices of BS-6 Ninja 300 by atleast Rs 10,000.
