This is the Bentley Mulsanne Limited Edition Extended Wheelbase: a China-only special of Crewe’s flagship saloon. Just fifteen examples will be built, featuring exclusive detailing and unique interior finishes.

From the outside, the Limited Edition is offered in two paint finishes: either Black Velvet -  a black paint finish with a hint of red - or the blueish-black Onyx. Once the main shade is applied, the exterior is finished by a hand-painted gold pinstripe that runs the length of the car’s near-six metre body.

Further tweaks on the outside include a set of 14 spoke 21-inch alloy wheels, and a front grille with a “double diamond quilt pattern” insert, while there’s also an enamel union flag motif on the C-Pillar.

Inside, the Mulsanne features unique artistry depicting the London skyline. The design is embossed into each of the four individual seats, and also printed onto the wood veneer on the passenger side of the dashboard. Three leather options are available, including Newmarket Tan, Fireglow (a terracotta-like shade) and Shortbread. Elsewhere, the Limited Edition receives polished stainless steel Mulliner treadplates and welcome lighting.

As with the rest of the Mulsanne range, the Limited Edition models are powered by the six-and-three-quarter litre turbocharged V8 engine. It has reached its 60th year in production, and in its current iteration it produces 505bhp and 1020Nm. It’ll accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 184mph.

Customers are available to order the Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase Limited Edition now.  Prices are available on application only, though even the standard-wheelbase model costs upwards of £238,000.
