Maruti has confirmed that it will introduce the 2020 Vitara Brezza and Ignis at the 2020 Auto Expo. Both will get BS6 engines and a significant makeover.
For the Auto Expo, Maruti has confirmed that its theme will be Green mobility. It might showcase more CNG and hybrid cars at the event. But, it will also bring in the 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Ignis Facelift at that time.
2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza will get its new petrol engine along with a new look. While its spy shots have been leaked, there are just a couple but noticeable styling changes. There will be new LED headlamps and LED DRLs as well.
Inside the cabin, the new Brezza will sport minor changes to the dashboard. The seat upholstery design and material might be different from the outgoing version. We can also see a new and more connected touchscreen infotainment system.

As for the Ignis Facelift, it will also get a refreshed look. Maruti says that the facelift will look more SUV-like with enhanced toughness. As far as the leaked photos suggest, the front styling will be completely revised with new bumpers, new grille and skid plates.
The Ignis, it will continue its same classy cabin with retro-style switches. The colour theme of the dashboard will definitely undergo some revision. There will be new features added along with new colour options as well.
2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza Facelift will use the new 1.5 Litre K15B petrol engine with mild-hybrid SHVS technology. The motor comes on the XL6, Ciaz and Ertiga, producing 104 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options might be the same with a 5-speed MT and a 4-speed AT.

Ignis will continue with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, but BS6 compliant. Just like the Baleno, there are chances of it getting the SHVS technology as well. The motor will produce 89 BHP and 113 Nm of peak torque.
Other than these two, Maruti will showcase a range of new concept vehicles as well. For starters, we will see the Futuro-E concept, its upcoming coupe-style electric SUV. We may also get to see the electric WagonR in a production-ready form.
