Bajaj is offering an overall warranty of 3 years or 50,000 kilometres on the Chetak electric as well as the lithium-ion battery. The maintenance cost of the scooter is minimal as it needs to be serviced in every 12,000 kilometres or one year, whichever is earlier.
Bajaj Chetak goes against the likes of Ather 450, which is also available in Bengaluru and Chennai only. The latter is priced at Rs 1.14 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and offers a slightly lower riding range. However, the power and torque of Ather 450 are higher than Chetak.
