Honda is going to discontinue the Navi and Cliq post-April 2020 due to its poor sales performance over the past couple of years.
Honda Navi and Cliq will soon see the end of the road. Both were launched as scooters with a unique design, to appeal to the younger generation of buyers. However, after finding barely any takers for the pat two years, Honda has decided to discontinue them.
While Honda has started upgrading its scooters and motorcycles to BS6 engines, Navi and Cliq would not get BS6 upgrade. Their leftover stock will be sold till April 2020 or till the stocks last at hefty discounts.
For models which are not generating enough revenue, the investment of upgrading becomes useless. Because of this particular reason, many bikes and scooters will be discontinued post the deadline.

For the month of December 2019, Honda sold Zero units of Navi and less than 100 units of Cliq. Navi remained unsold for the month of November as well and Cliq reported a sale of 96 units.
Navi was launched in 2016, while Cliq came out in 2017. For the first few months, Honda Navi and Cliq made good decent sales. While Navi is focused on the younger crowd, the latter was aimed towards the rural markets.
Honda Navi and Cliq both use the same 109.1cc engine, that delivers 8 BHP and 8.94 Nm of torque. The same engine is used in Honda Activa, Activa-i and Dio scooters. Due to the BS6 upgrade, the engine now gets fuel injection as standard and is 10% more fuel efficient.
Honda Navi is priced at Rs 45,314 and Cliq goes for Rs 45,405 (prices ex-showroom). Despite being priced nearly Rs 10,000 cheaper than Activa, the sales of these scooters have been down.
