In terms of styling, there are not any changes from the standard V-Class that we have in India, apart from the obviously extended ceiling. The interior dashboard layout is also identical to the standard Mercedes V-Class. The V-Class Marco Polo Edition comes to India in the long-wheelbase version, just like the Elite and Exclusive trims of the V-Class already available in India. It measures 5140mm in length, 1928mm in width, and 1901mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3200mm.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo in India is powered by a BS6-compliant OM654 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine that produces 163hp and 380Nm of torque. In fact, the power and torque figures remain identical to the Elite and Exclusive variants of the V-Class in India. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. The V-Class Marco Polo does not have a direct competitor in India and as such, has a niche audience for itself.
