Reports suggest that Honda Amaze will also get a minor facelift soon similar to what will soon come on the BS6 compliant WRV.
Honda is going to launch the new generation City as well as the BS6 WRV soon. Now, reports suggest that there will be a third but small launch soon. Honda is going to update the Amaze with a minor facelift, restricted to cosmetic upgrades.
2020 Honda Amaze facelift will get some styling tweaks similar to what seen on BS6 WRV. There will be a refreshed front grille, new projector headlamps, slightly tweaked front and rear bumpers with new LED taillight design. That’s it.

This could be part of a mid-life cycle update, specific for the year 2020. Amaze already has BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. The prices of BS6 Amaze commence at Rs 6.10 Lakhs up to Rs 9.96 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The variants are costlier by up to Rs 51,000.

BS6 Amaze continues with the same 1.2 Litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine and 1.5 Litre four-cylinder i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 90 BHP and 110 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine produces 99 BHP and 200 Nm of peak torque.
The engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT and a CVT, for both the engines. In the case of diesel-CVT configuration, the power figures drop down to 80 BHP and 160 Nm of peak torque. The mileage figure of Amaze petrol is around 18.5 kmpl and that of diesel is around 25 kmpl.
Features on the Honda Amaze facelift will be the same as the outgoing version. The list will include steering mounted audio controls, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paddle shifters (CVT), automatic AC, rear AC vents, Cruise Control and Height Adjustable Driver Seat. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.

Honda is halfway through having its complete BS6 lineup. It has launched the BS6 Amaze and BS6 City Petrol. The new generation model was supposed to come this week but has been delayed due to Coronavirus. Honda has teased the BS6 WRV and will launch it in the coming weeks. Honda Civic and CRV have BS6 petrol engines. As of now, there is no update of Jazz getting a BS6 compliant engine.
