Royal Enfield has launched the BS6 Classic 350 single-channel ABS for a price of Rs 1.57 lakhs. That makes it the most affordable bike in the Classic range. The variant lineup has also been simplified.
Royal Enfield has launched the BS6 complaint, single-channel ABS version of the Classic 350 in India for a price of Rs. 1.57 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its is also the manufacturers most affordable BS6 motorcycle you can buy in the country. Bookings for the Classic 350 Single-Channel have already begun and motorcycles have also started to reach dealerships. Deliveries for the motorcycle are expected to commence soon.
The Classic 350 single-channel ABS is available in six different paint schemes and all of them have been priced the same. The color options include – Mercury Silver, Ash, Chestnut, Redditch Red and Pure Black. As the name already suggests, the motorcycle only gets a single-channel ABS and apart from that, its completely identical the dual-channel ABS variant of the Classic 350. The BS6 version of the latter has a price of Rs 1.65 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India.
There has also been a reshuffle of the variants on the Classic 350 range – the more affordable ‘S’ variant and the Redditch variants have been dropped, and the Classic 350 portfolio has been simplified to just two variants – Single-Channel ABS and Dual-Channel ABS. The single-channel ABS variant is about Rs 11,000 more expensive than the previous Classic X 350.

The Redditch Red option is now offered as a colour scheme on the single-channel ABS variant, as is the Mercury Silver option previously available on the Classic X 350. The Redditch Green variant has disappeared from the lineup. Its actually a very nice move that Royal Enfield has simplified the range with just two variants. The lineup was otherwise getting very confusing before the BS6 update.

The Classic 350 single channel ABS is powered by the same 346cc UCE air-cooled motor that now gets fuel-injection system and other revisions to make it BS6-compliant. It was recently updated to meet BS6 emission norms on the dual-channel versions as well. The engine produces a slightly lower output than the BS4-spec engine with 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm 4000rpm. Power is still sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed gearbox.
