Revolt has increased the prices of RV400 due to higher input costs. The electric motorcycle now costs Rs 5,000 costlier, at Rs 1.04 Lakhs.
Revolt RV400 receives its first price hike of Rs 5,000. The price increase has affected buyers who are taking it on full payment. Instead of the earlier Rs 99,000, the RV400 will cost you Rs 1.04 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
For those who want to take the RV400 on a subscription basis, they will now get a 38-month payment period. That’s a month more opposed to the 37-month period before the price hike. Also, now, you have to pay a one time cost of Rs 3,999 for bookings, registration, insurance, smart card and 4G/3G connection.
The subscription amount for the Revolt RV400 stays the same, at Rs 3,999 per month. To clarify, the price hike has not affected the RV300. It still comes at a price of Rs 85,000 or with a monthly subscription package of Rs 2,999.

RV400 gets a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 3kW electric motor, producing 172 Nm. The achievable top-speed is 85 km/hr. Also, you get three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – the former two with a top speed of 45 km/hr and 65 km/hr, respectively.
The maximum claimed riding range is up to 156 kms with the ECO mode. The bike can be fully charged in up to 4.5 hours. Revolt offers a swappable lithium battery pack that you can carry home with yourself to charge with a 3-way plug.
In comparison, the RV300 gets a smaller 1.5 kW electric motor with a 60V/2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The top-speed achievable here is 65 km/hr with a maximum riding range of up to 180 kms. It gets the same riding modes with different limited top speed.
Features on the RV400 include a touchscreen infotainment system, integrated 4G e-Sim card, customizable exhaust notes, front and rear disc brakes, telescopic forks and an optional Bluetooth-connected helmet too.

RV400 also comes in with a 5 year/75,000 km warranty and service interval of 10,000 kms. Battery warranty is 8 years / 1.5 lakh kms. Revolt claims to have passed all the tests related to water wading, incline acceleration and battery life.
As of now, there is no proper rival for the RV400. Hero is coming up with its AE47 electric motorcycle, which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. TVS-backed Ultraviolette Automotive has its own electric motorcycle, F77. However, it is a performance-oriented bike rather than the Revolt as a commuter oriented one.
