The Grand i10 Nios CNG uses the same BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine under its hood from the standard model. However, this engine now produces 69bhp and 95Nm of peak torque when run on CNG. In comparison, the engine now makes 14hp and 19Nm of torque lesser than when it is run on petrol. The engine will only come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

In terms of features, there have been no changes in these trims as compared to their petrol counterparts. The Magna variant offers features like central locking, speed-sensing door locks, day/night IRVM, keyless entry, tilt adjustable steering, rear AC vents, 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth support, and more. The Sportz trim additionally gets features like projector fog lights, reverse parking camera, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

In fact, Hyundai offers all three types of fuel – petrol, diesel and CNG – with the Grand i10 Nios. Its also interesting to note that although Ford offers a CNG variant of the Aspire sedan, they do not so with the Figo.
