For the third consecutive month now, Kia Seltos has bagged the position of best selling SUV in India. It has managed to beat Venue, Brezza and Creta.
Kia Motors made its debut in our country in the month of August. Even before the launch, it was a highly anticipated car which recorded India’s highest booking record in a day. Now, nearly 6 months later, Seltos is still managing to grab everyone’s attention.
Amidst the lockdown, Kia Seltos has managed to retain its best selling SUV position. For the past two months it has been holding on to the same title. For the month of March it has recorded 7,466 units sold, also making it the fifth best selling car for the month.

Amongst the top 10 selling cars of March, the first four spot is as usual, taken up by Maruti. Seltos comes fifth, follwed by Creta and Venue. The deliveries of 2020 Creta did not commence for the buyers and this sales figure is for the earlier generation.
Going by customer reviews, Seltos is one of the most preferred choices when it comes to buying a car in the 15-20 Lakhs range. Its prices start off at Rs 9.69 Lakhs up to Rs 17.29 Lakhs, creating a wide range for buyers with different budgets.
Also, it remains popular because of all the features that it offers. The top-end variants get Heads Up Display, electric sunroof, ventilated seats, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment with UVO Connect, electric adjustment for driver seat, wireless charger, ambient mood lighting, rear reclining seats and much more!

Seltos is offered with three different engines and four transmission options. It gets a 1.5 Litre petrol with 6-speed MT and CVT, a 1.5 Litre diesel engine with 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT and a 1.4 Litre turbo-petrol T-GDI unit with a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT.
