This Advertisement Sums Up The Spacious Cabin And Practicality Of Honda Jazz

We stumbled across this advertisement of Honda Jazz, a.k.a Fit. The hatchback is one of the most practical ones that you can buy right now.

Honda is set to upgrade the Jazz with new BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. Launched back in 2009 as a premium hatchback, it now finds competing itself fiercely against Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo and Toyota Glanza. While Jazz may not be the best selling of the lot, it still remains the most simple and fuel efficient of the lot.

Honda Jazz is known for its high practicality and comfort levels. Here’s an advertisement of it from a foreign country, which shows what the Jazz is actually capable of. The hatch is known as Honda Fit in many global markets, including the USA. This ad shows that you can fit anything inside the Jazz.

There’s a large funnel type thing going inside the car through its rear windshield. On the top, you can see various things like a cycle, surfboard, fishing rod, beer cooler and much more. It is a metaphor suggesting that there’s a lot of space inside the cabin of Jazz or Fit. Of course, the ad is a bit old as well.

The BS6 Honda will continue with the same 1.2 Litre i-VTEC and 1.5 Litre i-DTEC engines. The petrol engine is capable of producing 90 BHP and 110 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine offers 99 BHP and 200 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines will get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, with the former getting an optional CVT as well.

A couple of new features like LED headlamps and LED DRLs are expected onboard. Otherwise, it will continue with the same list including a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control (CVT), steering mounted audio controls, electric ORVMs, front passenger auto up/down windows and much more.

We expect Honda to keep the prices under check because Jazz is one of the costliest hatches in the segment. While BS6 upgrades will definitely increase the price, we are expecting a mild Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 hike. Let’s see what more will the BS6 Jazz offer to make it somewhat better than its rivals.
