Volkswagen has discontinued the 1.2 Litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that came with the Polo GT TSI. Paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, it was a complete budget oriented buyer’s delight. Now, VW has replaced the engine with a smaller but more powerful 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol.
Polo is one of the most modified cars around the world as well as in India. Here is one superbly modified Volkswagen Polo GT TSI that has received a lot of upgrades. This modified car is from Kerala, India’s leading modification hub.

This modified Volkswagen Polo comes in the Sunset red colour which was recently introduced with the facelift. Further, it gets custom front lip, carbon fiber bonnet and other parts, GTI-styled headlamps and air vents on the bonnet.
These massive 18-inch 8.5aj Radi8 Rims with Accelera Sigma tires look out of the world. The regular Polo comes with 15-inch tires. At the back, it gets a carbon fiber roof spoiler and Custom Rear Diffuser. The hot hatch look is completed by Webasto Sunroof, which sadly, cannot be seen.
In case of performance, the hatch gets Wolfmotoperfomance Tuning, Stage 1 ECU Remapping, Grid7 Custom Exhaust System With A Valve-tronic Unit and BMC Intake Filter. The power figures are unknown but have definitely increased by a considerable number.
Lastly, it gets KW Street Comfort Suspension Upgrade for lowered suspension. There’s another big upgrade that comes in the form of paddle shifters. Since it is the GT TSI, it is already paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and the combination of two will definitely be any petrolhead’s wet dream.

Volkswagen recently introduced the T-Roc in India, which is priced at Rs 19.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It gets a 1.5 Litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol TSI unit that produces 150 PS. T-Roc is capable of reaching a top speed of 202 km/hr.
