Toyota will soon be introducing a mid-cycle facelift on the Fortuner SUV with lots of cosmetic updates and it is expected to be launched at the end of this year.
Last week we reported to you that Toyota is working on a mid-cycle facelift for the Fortuner. Spy images for the updated SUV emerged online which gave us a fair hint of what we could expect from the upcoming SUV. Now, here’s a rendering that gives you a very nice look at what the Toyota Fortuner facelift could actually look like. Let’s look at it in a little more detail.
This render has been created by ia.dsgn on their Instagram page. The Toyota Fortuner facelift seems to pack plenty of visual updates and the face of the SUV now looks very fresh and much more inline with Toyota’s new SUVs like the RAV4 and Raize. The rendering is based on the spy shots and you can immediately notice that the grille is lot slimmer and has gloss black bits instead of the chunky chrome grille we see here in India. The bumper is also much more contoured now with triangle-shaped faux air intakes on each corner.
The headlights have also been revised with new LED elements and inserts. They also look much slimmer than before and make the face look much sharper. The satin-silver finish of the skid plate completes the visual update on the front for the SUV. In profile, there does not seem to be any significant change on the SUV but at the rear, there are styling tweaks in the form of a mildly restyled bumper and tail-lamp inserts.

We expect the Fortuner facelift to make it to India by the end of this year.
