Toyota Innova Crysta Reimagined By DC Designs for Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit recently added a Toyota Innova Crysta to her garage and then DC Design completely overhauled the interiors to make it as luxurious as an Audi or Bentley.

There are a few Bollywood actors known for their taste in cars but Madhuri Dixit isn’t a name that would pop up in your mind quite so instantly. Turns out she has a fine taste in cars too. She has a Mercedes-Maybach S560 in her garage to name one of her swanky rides but the actress recently added a rather humle Toyota Innova Crysta to her garage. No, its really not that humble after all. Customized by DC Design, now rebranded as DC2, this Innova Crysta looks ordinary from the outside but has been completely customized to her taste on the inside. So here’s a look at the Toyota Innova Crysta that proudly sits in the garage of Madhuri Dixit.

Here's how DC Designs has customized the interiors of the Toyota Innova Crysta for Madhuri Dixit.
Here’s how DC Designs has customized the interiors of the Toyota Innova Crysta for Madhuri Dixit.

The interiors of this Toyota Innova Crysta has been completely overhauled to suit the personal taste and requirements of Madhuri Dixit. You can’t help but notice the abundance of light beige leather that drapes the entire upholstery of the car. There’s also a doze of wood and brushed aluminum inserts in the cabin. Interestingly, the third row of seats in this Innova Crysta has been retained and it remains a six seater. You would usually expect the third row to be removed in such modification jobs for extra legroom in the second row.

It comes with leather draped arm chair-like seats and as many as four digital screens.

The second most abundant thing in the cabin has to be the number of digital screens. There’s four. The middle seat in the second row has been replaced with a fancy center console with retractable trays, cupholders and a small refrigerator and of course a digital screen to control the seats electronically. The seats themselves are individual arm chairs and even come with additional under thigh support and individual entertainment screens. That’s two more. The forth one is the standard infotainment screen in the Innova Crysta for the front row.

There’s ambient lighting all around and then the ceiling is dotted with LED star-like lights, much like we have seen in Rolls Royces. Dilip Chhabria, founder of DC design, says that the actress has an incredible eye for detail and the entire project along with conceptualization took four months to complete. It is also equipped with a top-notch audio system to meet the acoustic needs. According to Chhabria, the interior has been designed to be a combination of Audi’s comfort and the opulence of a Bentley.

Apart from the changes done to the cabin, the MPV remains mechanically unchanged. This particular Toyota Innova Crysta owned by Madhuri Dixit is a petrol-automatic variant in the range-topping trim. DC has not revealed pricing on the custom project but its packages start from around ₹ 9.5 lakh onwards. The Innova Crysta is an extremely comfortable car by itself and with these added luxurious, it will very well suit the lifestyle of a Bollywood actress. DC design has taken the interiors of this humble Innova Crysta almost to the level of a Mercedes-Mayback S650, something the actress would really appreciate we reckon.
