BS6 Honda City Is Now Cheaper By Rs 1 Lakh Including Discounts

The official offers and discounts on BS6 Honda City is Rs 1 Lakh, making its price cheaper by a considerable margin.

Now the Lockdown 3.0 is towards its end, manufacturers are slowly starting up their operations. Many have already started their manufacturing and production process. In the green zones, dealerships have also started opening up, so have the deliveries commenced. In the states of Punjab, Kerala and Goa, deliveries began the earliest.

Honda has announced the official discount and offers for its models. The highest discount is applicable to the current generation BS6 Honda City. The sedan is now available a Lakh cheaper than its original ex-showroom price. However, this discount is only applicable to some variants, while for the rest of them, the benefits are low.

For the top-spec VX CVT and ZX (MT and CVT) variants, buyers will get flat Rs 50,000 as cash discount and Rs 50,00 exchange bonus. The VX manual variant is cheaper by Rs 72,000 with 37K as cash discount and 35K as exchange bonus. Lastly, on SV and V grades, you have a total discount of Rs 45,000.

The current price range of City starts at Rs Rs 9.91 Lakhs to Rs 14.31 Lakhs (ex-showroom). With the discount, the price range ends at Rs 13.31 Lakhs. Even the starting price is lower by Rs 45,000. This offer will continue for a couple of months because dealerships have started experiencing high losses.

Soon, Honda is also going to launch the new generation City in India. The fifth-generation sedan will co-exist with the current version, the latter coming in cheaper for private as well as cab fleet operators. The new City will get a lot of upgrades over the outgoing version, including tweaks to engine, completely new look, more features and slightly bigger dimensions.

2020 City will get a new 1.5 Litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that will be the most powerful in its class. The diesel engine will remain the same but will finally be paired with a CVT gearbox. The expected price range of the sedan is Rs 10.5 Lakhs to Rs 16 Lakhs (ex-showroom)l
