Kawasaki has launched the BS6 Ninja 650 with a price hike of Rs 35,000 but it also gets subtle styling changes and a new digital instrument cluster. Other than BS6 compliance, there are no mechanical updates however.

Kawasaki has launched the BS6 Ninja 650 in India for a price of Rs 6.24 lakh, ex-showroom. The BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is now Rs 35,000 more expensive than its BS4 counterpart and while the hike may seem pretty steep, its not just a BS6 update. But let’s talk of the heart of this motorcycle. The BS6 Ninja 650 continues to be powered by the same 650cc parallel-twin engine that produces 68PS at 8000rpm and 65.7Nm of peak torque at 6700rpm. The engine output numbers remain the same as before. However, Kawasaki claims that the engine has been tuned for better mid-range performance as compared to the BS4-spec model.
