Honda WRV Facelift Reaches Dealerships – What Are The Changes On It?

Honda WRV facelift has already started reaching dealerships ahead of its launch in just a week or two. Here is the detailed list of all the changes that it will get.

Honda was going to launch the updated WRV and Jazz a month ago but was delayed due the nationwide lockdown. Now that the dealerships are open and the purchases have begun, we expect Honda to launch the updated models in under a week or two. As for the WRV facelift, it has already started reaching dealerships.

Honda WRV will get a couple of changes which will give it a refreshed look, but not completely different. Starting with cosmetic changes, it will get a tweaked front fascia with a new chrome-plated grille. The fog lamp housing also goes under some revision. Then there are the new LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs.

The alloy wheels are the same as earlier and there are no further tweaks done to the exterior. There’s an interior spy shot as well, but we can see no difference inside. Probably, inside the cabin, the Honda WRV facelift will only get a revised upholstery design. Since it is just a facelift, the touchscreen AC control has not been replaced by knobs.

WRV facelift will continue with the same petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2 Litre four-cylinder iVTEC engine produces 90 PS and 110 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5 Litre i-DTEC produces 100 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque. The gearbox options remain the same as earlier, a 5-speed MT for the petrol and a 6-speed MT for the diesel variants.

Features onboard will remain the same including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start, cruise control, automatic climate control, electric sunroof, rear AC vents, etc. Safety feartures will include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.

The Honda WRV was priced from Rs 8.08 Lakhs up to Rs 10.48 Lakhs (ex-showroom), which is expected to increase by at least Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000. The mileage figures are expected to rise by small numbers and WRV will continue its title of having the most frugal diesel engine in its class.
