Royal Enfield Increases Price of BS6 Classic 350, Bullet 350 and Himalayan

Royal Enfield has increased the price of BS6 Classic 350 and Bullet 350 by Rs 2,755 while the BS6 Himalayan sees a similar hike of Rs 2,754. There are no new changes on the motorcycles however.

Royal Enfield has just hiked the prices of the BS6 Himalayan, Classic 350 and Bullet 350 in India. The BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Bullet 350 each see a hike in price by Rs 2,755. Meanwhile, the BS6 Royal Enfield Himalayan sees a hike in price by Rs 2,754. Interestingly, this is the first hike in price that comes along for the BS6 Classic 350 and Bullet 350 that were introduced almost a year ago.

Royal Enfield introduced the BS6 Classic 350 single-channel ABS in India last year for a price of Rs 1.57 lakh. The same model now costs Rs 1.60 lakh while the dual-channel ABS iteration of the BS6 Classic 350 now costs Rs 1.68 lakh. Other iterations of the BS6 Classic 350 range which includes the likes of the Classic 350 Signals, Classic 350 Gun Metal Grey Alloy & Classic Stealth Black & Chrome are priced at Rs 1.78 lakh, Rs 1.82 lakh and Rs 1.85 lakh respectively, all prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Bullet 350 is currently Royal Enfield’s most affordable offering. Royal Enfield launched the BS6 iteration of the Bullet 350 for a starting price of Rs 1.21 lakh in March last year. The BS6 Bullet 350 is essentially available in two variants – Standard and ES (Electric Start). Further Royal Enfield offers an X suffix to each variant which means they get several blacked out bits like engine casing, fenders, rims, etc. The standard model can be had only with the X treatment while the ES can be had with or without it. The price of the BS6 Bullet 350 range thus stands like this – 350X (Rs 1.24 lakh), 350 ES (Rs 1.30 lakh) and 350 ES X (Rs1.40 lakh). All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

Finally coming to the BS6 Himalayan, Royal Enfield had launched the motorcycle in India for a starting price of Rs 1.87 lakh. Prices for the Himalayan however depend on its color variants and there are six color options to choose from. Starting price of the BS6 Himalayan now stands at Rs 1.90 lakh for the Granite Black and Snow White color options. The Sleet Grey and Gravel Grey colors on the Himalayan are retailed at Rs 1.92 lakh while the Rock Red and Lake Blue colors are retailed for Rs 1.94 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Apart from just a hike in price, there are no mechanical changes on any of the motorcycles. The Classic 350 and Bullet 350 continue to be powered by BS6-compliant 346 cc single-cylinder FI engine that produces 19.1 bhp with peak torque of 28 Nm. The engine comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the Himalayan is powered by a BS6 411 cc, single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine that produces 24.3 bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 32 Nm. The Himalayan too is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
