Well if you are planning to buy the Skoda Octavia RS 245, you are late. The performance sedan is already sold out in India in just two months of it being introduced in India. It is brought in India through the CBU route and the first lot is already sold. As of now, there is no idea when the second lot will come to India.
Skoda allocated only 200 units for the first lot of Octavia RS 245. Many buyers have already started getting it and we are mesmerized with the colours of it. Five different colour options and all look ravishing and difficult to choose. Now you cannot buy it but for the second lot, you can prepare yourself with the money and colours.

Octavia RS comes with a 2.0 Litre TSI engine that produces 245 PS and 370 Nm of peak torque. It comes with FWD and can sprint from 0-100 km/hr in just 6.6 seconds. The top speed has been electronically limited up to 250 km/hr. The TSI engine comes mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox as standard fitment.
Features onboard include Quadra LED headlamps with DRLs, a black spoiler, flat bottom steering wheel, and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters, retractable headlamp wiper, vRS mode, 12-way electrically adjustable seats and much more.
Safety features include nine airbags, Anti Slip Regulation, Electronic Differential Lock, Handsfree Parking System, electronic stability control, hydraulic brake assist, rear parking sensors with rear parking camera and much more. When compared to the regular Octavia, it gets a lot more features.

The Octavia RS 245 is priced at Rs 35.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and will cost you around Rs 42 Lakhs on-road. The RS does not have any direct rival but in a similar price range, you have the options of Mini Cooper S and the Audi A3 (Temporarily Discontinued). If you stretch your budget by just Rs 5 Lakhs, you can opt for the BMW 3 Series Petrol as well.
