Honda is going to launch the new generation 2020 City very soon. The unofficial bookings for it have already begun at dealerships as well. Till now, many details about it have also come forward regarding the features, engine details and how it will co-exist with the outgoing City. The new and old City both will be sold in India.

The new City will mostly come in top-end variants only, whereas the older City will offer all the existing base and mid-spec trims. Full LED Headlamps

Full LED headlamps is a segment first feature. Most of them go with projector headlamps or even halogens. The headlamp unit gets 9 array in-line shell, integrated LED DRLs and L-Shaped LED Turn lights.

Lane Watch Camera

This feature is not even heard in budget cars. Honda introduced it first in the Civic and now City also gets it. Basically, additional cameras are placed on the left wing mirror. You can operate it while driving itself or while taking a turn. The view will come on the touchscreen infotainment system.

Alexa Remote Compatibility

While it may not be the first car, or even the first sedan in its class to get connected car technology. However, the 2020 Honda City will be the first car to get Alexa Remote. So, you have a world renowned software backing the City up.

Longest And Widest In Its Class

The new City will get revised dimensions. It is now 4.55 metres long, 1.75 metres wide and 1.49 metres tall, making it the longest and widest sedan in the class. Even earlier, it was said to be comfiest of all and with bigger cabin now, it will offer a more enhanced comfort.

G-Meter For The Speedometer

This feature is unheard in India, till date. G-Meter or a G-Force meter is a supercar based feature that is found on Nissan GT-R and even Formula 1 cars. It makes up for your RPM meter and looks super cool.
