The new 2020 Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular cars in India right now and also among the top selling cars of India. The already popular SUV got a lot of more features, exciting new engines and a comprehensive makeover. All these points made it a strong character in Hyundai’s current lineup.

Most Practical And VFM Variant Of New Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta comes in E, EX, S, SX and SX(O) trims. The turbo petrol engine is reserved for the last two but petrol and diesel engines come on all trims. The difference between E and EX is not that huge, just the latter getting a touchscreen infotainment and a front USB charger. So, we can confirm that the Creta S trim is the most practical one.

The main features that this S trim misses out is the digital instrument cluster, electric sunroof, drive modes, alloy wheels and the Blue Link internet connectivity. However, it still gets all the features that are the most basic and important for your daily driving needs. Some of the left out features are not even found on the next-in-line SX trim.
Hyundai Creta S Trim Price:
- S Petrol Manual – Rs 11.72 Lakhs
- S Diesel Manual – Rs 12.77 Lakhs
Unfortunately, this variant does not get an automatic gearbox. The 1.5 Litre petrol engine comes with a manual and a CVT gearbox. The diesel one goes with a manual and a 6-speed torque converter AT. If you want an automatic gearbox, you will have to look at the SX or the SX(O) trims.

Creta petrol gets a 1.5 Litre four-cylinder unit that produces 115 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine is a 1.5 Litre four-cylinder unit that also produces 115 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque. The third and the most exciting engine on offer is the 1.4 Litre turbo-petrol T-GDI engine that produces 143 PS and comes with a 7-speed DCT.
