Yes, its a little more expensive than other compact sedans in its segment but it still feels worth its money. It is the largest sedan in its segment and in India, size well equates to money. Which variant makes most sense in terms of features for the new Honda City? Well, if you really want the new City but can’t stetch your budget by long, the base V trim still makes a great buy as it comes equipped with all that’s necessary and shouldn’t leave you wanting for more. If you really like your sunroof and your alloy-wheels, the mid-spec VX trim should fit your bill just right for a compact sedan. However, you will certainly be shelling out more money for the top-spec ZX trim of the new City over top-specs trims of other sedans in this segment.

The petrol engine has been tuned to produce 119hp and 145Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard along with an optional CVT automatic gearbox. The diesel engine is now BS6 compliant and produces 100hp and 200 Nm of torque and it solely comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
