Here are the top 5 highlights that you will see on the new BS6 Honda Jazz but not on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
Honda has launched the BS6 compliant Jazz with prices starting at Rs 7.50 Lakhs going up to Rs 9.73 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The new prices make Jazz the costliest hatchback in its segment, but it still offers some segment-first features. It continues with its 1.2 Litre i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 90 BHP and 110 Nm of peak torque. Its highly efficient 1.5 Litre diesel engine has now been discontinued.

5 Highlights Of Honda Jazz That Do Not Come On Maruti Baleno
1. Cruise Control
Jazz comes with cruise control as an option for both its manual and CVT variants. Only Jazz and Altroz in this segment offer one, while the others do not get this feature.
2. Electric Sunroof
Electric sunroof is a segment-first feature that comes on the new Honda Jazz. While it may not be favourable for Indian weather conditions, but just the addition of it makes the cabin very roomy.
3. Paddle Shifters
Even this here is a segment first feature. For the CVT variants, Jazz gets paddle-shifters as standard fitment. Polo TSI came with it earlier when it was paired with the DSG gearbox.
4. Fully Reclining Front Passenger Seat
Another segment first feature is that the front passenger seat of Jazz can be fully reclined. If you remove the headrest the rear seat passenger can use it as a full stretched recliner.
5. Automatic Gearbox For Base Variants
Jazz now comes in three variants instead of four, its base variant being discontinued. So technically, it matches with the second variant of Baleno. However, even for the sake, the base variant of Jazz offers an automatic transmission which most of the cars in this segment do not offer.
