Mahindra Launches Online Portal for Mahindra Customization!

Mahindra Customization is the brand’s in-house modification department and through their new online portal, you can customize your new or pre-owned Mahindra SUV with some great modification packages on offer for their vehicles.

Mahindra is a brand who primarily builds SUVs and SUVs are one of the most modified body styles in our country. Mahindra thus have their own in-house modification department which is known as Mahindra Customization. They have over 300 touch point across India via Mahindra dealerships and they offer personalization services for new Mahindra cars as well as pre-owned ones. These modifications are made keeping within the company’s engineering standards and that the warranty on the vehicles (if applicable) are also maintained.

Mahindra has now launched an online portal for its customization department as well. Customers can enquire, personalize and even place order for their customized Mahindra vehicle. Currently, this personalization option is only available for the Thar, Scorpio and the Bolero. The same for the KUV100, XUV300 and XUV500 will be added soon as well. You will find plenty of pre-set custom kits for each of the listed cars and build your SUV to your taste.

For example, the new Mahindra Thar can be had in either the Daybreak Edition (Hard-top and Soft-top), Adventure (Hard-top, Soft-top, and Open-top), Buggy, Bison, or Midnight Editions. All these packages bring about different exterior and interior accessories pertaining to a particular theme. The Bolero, for example, can be had in packages which are called the Attitude, Limited Edition, Stinger Variant – 1, Stinger Variant – 2, Stinger Variant – 3, and Xclusiv. Similarly, the Scorpio too has its own packages such as Dark Horse Edition, Lifestyle, Mountaineer, Xtreme, and Xtreme Dark Edition.

Some of these packages bring about exterior personalization options with a plethora of accessories such as new alloy wheels and tyres, new headlamps and taillights, custom front grille, new bumpers, etc. You can also choose to further enhance the look or purpose with additional accessories such as rock sliders, bull bars, roll bars, FRP hardtop, super skeleton roll cage, snorkel, winch, lift kits, and a range of canopies. The interiors too can be customized to your taste to either make it more rugged or perhaps more luxurious.

The range of accessories for the interiors include premium audio system, GPS navigation system, DVD player, door trims, leather seats, custom steering wheels, mood lighting, car fridge, roof-mounted chillers, floor mats, and power windows. Of course these packages come at a cost and some of these can be quite expensive. However, considering the level of personalization and exclusivity it brings to the table, each model is custom-built to the owner’s taste and we think its well worth it.
