The XT+ variant is only a mid-spec variant and it misses out on features such as HID projector headlamps, terrain modes, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, powered driver’s seat, a semi-digital instrument display and auto-dimming IRVM. It however comes decently equipped with features such as a smaller 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker sound system, drive modes, halogen projector headlamps with LED DRLs, keyless entry with push button start, climate control, cruise control, and even auto headlamps and wipers. Under the hood, the 170hp 2.0L diesel engine only comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox on this variant. If the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox was also thrown into the mix, it would have been a great package and perhaps the most value for money variant. The Tata Harrier continues to rival the likes of the MG Hector, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos and barring the Seltos, both the Hector and the Creta have variants equipped with panoramic sunroofs at a more affordable price point.
