Even in the BS4 era, it came with a very powerful 1.8 TSI engine and the 2.0 Litre TDI engine, both some amazing engines.

However, it is one car which is also known for its high safety through the technology and components of metal used. Here is one such example of the strong build quality of Octavia. This damaged sedan that you can see over here hit a cow that jumped in front. The speed of Octavia was about 140 km/hr with cruise control set on.

It was night time when the driver was cruising on the Agra expressway, going towards Agra when suddenly the cow came in front of the car. It was night time due to which the visibility was already low. The car has suffered a huge damage but the owner says that it does not come under total loss.

He has received an estimate of Rs 10 Lakh from the dealership. The front portion has been completely damaged including the side fenders. The impact has been limited by the doors completely. The alloy wheels as seen are also in proper condition. We are not sure about this, but by the looks the engine might also have received some damage.

The owner is very happy with the safety highlight of Skoda Octavia. He plans to repair it and keep it with him only. The involved model looks like the regular variant which gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Mechanical Braking Assist, Rear Parking Camera, Front and Rear Parking Sensors and Traction Control.
