The Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition is based on the HTX trim with a premium in price of Rs 41,000. For that money, it brings some tasteful cosmetic changes on the outside but there aren’t any significant feature addition on the inside.
Its already been a year since Kia launched the Seltos in India and in just about a year’s time, Kia has made a very strong impression in the Indian market. Riding high on the success of the Seltos, the Sonet is also continuing the same trend. To mark one year of the Seltos in India, Kia has launched the Seltos Anniversary Edition in India with price starting from Rs 13.75 lakh and going up to Rs 14.85 lakh (ex-showroom, India). A couple of days ago, we reported to you with spy shots of the same but now, Kia has officially unveiled this limited-edition Seltos.

Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition Design
The Seltos Anniversary Edition comes with subtle but funky cosmetic tweaks that enhances the look of the SUV that much more. The most noticeable of those tweaks will be the new orange accents around the fog lamp surrounds, faux dual-exhaust section on the rear bumper and the centre caps of the alloy wheels. The front and rear bumpers have also been mildly revised. The front bumper gets a bull-bar like faux skid plate finished in silver and gloss black while the rear also gets a faux diffuser finished in silver.
In fact, the revised bumpers have actually increased the length of the SUV by 60mm, Elsewhere, the Seltos now also gets new side skirts finished in silver with the ‘Seltos’ lettering on them. There’s also an an orange ‘1st Anniversary Edition’ badge on the tailgate. The 17-inch wheels on the Seltos Anniversary Edition come finished in a new Raven Black paint shade, although the design remains identical to the standard HTX variant. Kia is also offering two new dual-tone exclusive paint shades with the Seltos Anniversary Edition – Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl and Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl. Other color options include the monotone Aurora Black Pearl paint shade and Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl dual-tone option.
Interiors and Features
While the standard HTX variant comes with dual-tone black and beige interiors, the Anniversary Edition comes with all-black interiors, and no, there are no orange accents here. A splash of orange on the inside would have certainly spiced up the interiors a little more. The door pads, the soft-touch leather trim on the dashboard and even the seats with a honeycomb pattern have black upholstery. In terms of equipment, you get everything that’s offered as standard on the HTX trim. However, you miss out on features such as the 8-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, 7-inch MID, and a wireless charger that are offered on the top-spec HTX+ variant. Here’s a look at some of the features that you will get on the Anniversary edition.
- 10.25-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- UVO (Kia’s connected car tech)
- LED Headlights and Tail-lights
- Keyless Entry
- Sunroof
- Cruise Control
- Rear AC vents
- Six-Speaker Music System

Engine Options
Under the hood, the Seltos Anniversary Edition either gets the 1.5L, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine or the 1.5L turbo-diesel engine. The former produces 115hp and 144Nm of torque while the latter produces 115hp and 250Nm of torque. The petrol engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. The diesel engine can be had only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Sadly, Kia does not offer the option of the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox on the HTX trim and thus the Anniversary Edition also misses it out.
