The deliveries of Kia Sonet have commenced successfully across the country. Here is the first modification video of the sub compact SUV, where the Tech Line top-end HTX+ variant is converted into the GT Line GTX+ variant. Not many modifications done, but just some cosmetic upgrades.
So, the Kia Sonet HTX+ variant is already among the top end variants in the lineup, so it comes with most of the features available on GTX+ variant. So, this conversion just includes some cosmetic upgrades and nothing else. The biggest difference between both the trims is that GTX+ variant offers red accents over the body.

So, here, the Sonet HTX+ variant also gets red inserts on the doors, alloy wheel cap, front and rear bumpers. Also, the gloss black grille comes on both the variants however with the same silver surrounding. Even the skid plate and bumper cladding design remain the same for both the trims.
Further, the GT Line variant gets visual differences on the inside as well. Here, those modifications have not been done and the owner has retained the original interiors. Also, the top-end variant gets traction control mode and drive modes additionally. Other than that, there is no difference as such.
Kia Sonet gets three engine options including a 1.5 Litre diesel engine, 1.2 Litre petrol and a 1.0 Litre turbo-petrol. The turbo motor comes paired with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT, without the option of a manual stick. The diesel engine comes in two state of tunes, the manual variant offering 100 PS/240 NM and the diesel-auto variant offering 115 PS/250 Nm. Prices start off at Rs 6.71 Lakhs up to Rs 12.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
