Now, although Tata is offering the Dark Edition additionally on the mid-spec XT and XT+ variants, they haven’t done the same for the dual-tone variants. As for the Dark Edition itself, it is now a whole Rs 1.35 lakh cheaper with the XT variant as opposed to the previous Rs 17.85 lakh entry point with the XZ variant.
It’s also worth pointing out that the XT and XT+ Dark Edition variants cost Rs 10,000 more than their standard counterparts. In comparison, the XZ and XZ+ variants command a premium of Rs 20,000 over the monotone variants of the Harrier. As a matter of fact, the XT+ variant is also a recent addition in the Harrier lineup which was launched sometime ago for an introductory price of Rs 16.99 lakh. The introductory price period is over and now the XT+ variant is priced at Rs 17.20 lakh for standard monotone variant.
Nothing has changed with regard to the Harrier Dark Edition though. To give you a quick recap, the Harrier Dark Edition comes painted in a stealthy black shade and all the chrome trims from the standard SUV also get the gloss black treatment. Even the faux silver skid plate and the alloy wheels get the blacked-out treatment. There’s however a single chrome trim above the window line to create some contrast. The black theme also continues on the inside withall-black upholstery. Even the wooden trim on the dashboard is replaced by a glossy silver trim and it looks pretty neat.
