The festive season is what both carmakers and buyers look forward to every year very eagerly. Buying sentiment is at the most positive around this time of the year and carmakers also subsequently roll out massive discounts on their cars. This year, manufacturers will also be looking to compensate for the losses incurred at the beginning of the year. To lure more customers, almost every manufacturer is giving out huge cash discounts, exchange offers, corporate benefits and more. If some compact or mid-size sedans have been on your mind this festive season, here are some of the best discounts available.
Maruti Suzuki
Although Maruti Suzuki will have at least five cars in the top 10 best selling cars each month, sales for Maruti Suzuki have been down for quite some time now. The festive season is just the right time to revive sales and Maruti Suzuki is giving out discounts on both the Ciaz and the Dzire. The Ciaz is available with with discounts of up to Rs 60,000 in the metro cities. Meanwhile, 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is available with discounts of up to Rs 42,000. Maruti Suzuki still has some unsold units of the pre-facelift Dzire and that they are rolling out with discounts of up to Rs 57,000.
Honda
Honda has been offering a wide range of discounts across its entire product portfolio. Among their sedans, the best discounts this festive season is on the Amaze sub-compact sedan. There are total benefits of up to Rs 47,000 to be enjoyed on the BS6 Amaze. Petrol versions get a cash discount of up to Rs 20,000 along with exchange benefits of up to Rs 15,000. Honda is also offering extended warranty for fourth and fifth year worth Rs 12,000. Diesel versions of the Amaze get cash discounts of up to Rs 10,000 with exchange bonus and warranty benefits remaining the same.
The Honda City on the other hand is available with benefits of up to Rs 30,000 under the car exchange scheme. The Honda Civic is also available with huge discounts this festive season with petrol versions enjoying discounts up to Rs 1 lakh while diesel variants are up for grabs with a huge Rs 2.5 lakh cash discount.

Volkswagen
Volkswagen currently has only one sedan up its sleeve and that’s the Vento. The Vento is one of the best driver’s cars in this segment. It is also one of the fastest sedans in the country under the Rs 15 lakh bracket. Select variants of the Volkswagen Vento are up for grabs with discounts of up to Rs 60,000.

Tata Motors
The Tata Tigor too was updated with a facelift earlier this year and is currently solely available with a BS6 petrol engine. The Tigor is a well rounded package offering good driving experience and is also decently well loaded for the segment. Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 30,000 on the Tigor.
