Dacia Bigster Concept – Exterior dimensions
The Bigster will be based on the CMF-B platform from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. The SUV is 4.6m in length which makes it very flexible in terms of utility. It can be made into a large mid-size SUV or a 7-seater derivative of the mid-size SUV. The appearance of this concept is simply very striking. The muscular look it comes with will definitely find many admirers especially in India, who want their SUVs large with a lot of road presence. The Y-shaped LED headlamps, with chain-shaped LED DRLs of the grille of the car make it look really rugged. Apart from that, the chunky bumpers extend a sporty feel to the SUV.
The side profile is accentuated by a tall and boxy design language with roof rails and upright stance. Side profile lets you know the size of the massive alloys with large wheel arches. The Y-shaped lighting theme continues at the rear a swell, with Y-shaped tail lamps. The rear is squared off by a large sporty bumper. There are not too many details about the interiors of the Bigster at the moment.

While it is not clear which engine-gearbox combination the Bigster will come with, we can expect that if it comes to India as the next-gen Duster or even a 7-seater Duster, the engine options might be the same as the Duster. Duster comes with two engine options including a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol making 105hp and 142Nm and a more powerful 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine making 154Nm and 254Nm. The Duster currently comes with either a manual or a CVT automatic transmission option.
