2021 VW Tiguan Launch Has Been Postponed To June 2021!

The situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic in India has gone worse and the country is on the brink of another lockdown. The cases are increasing every day and the situation doesn’t seem to get any better anytime soon either. In the wake of this, many carmakers have actually postponed the launches of their various products. We had earlier reported such news for the Skoda Octavia and now we are hearing this news with regards to the recently unveiled 2021 VW Tiguan. The 5-seater luxury SUV was slated for launch in early May 2021 but the chances are, it will now launch sometime after June 2021. This is a grave situation because of the pandemic and that will not only affect the sales but also the product of new vehicles. Keeping that in mind, VW has decided to delay the launch a little till the situation gets a bit better. Let us see what the updated Tiguan offers.

2021 VW Tiguan- Exterior Highlights

The updated Tiguan looks like all the international modern SUVs that are a part of Volkswagen. Not a lot has changed on the outside but still, there are a fair few bits that have been updated to distinguish this model from the previous one. To start with the headlamp unit now is the LED Matrix unit with plenty of new functions including Dynamic LED Cornering Lights and Dynamic Headlight Range Control. Then there is an updated sharper new front grille with 4 Chrome-layer setups along with sharp and pronounced shoulder lines as well as a sportier bumper with layers. The sides are accentuated by the 18-inch Frankfurt design alloy wheels, roof rails and shorter overhangs than the Tiguan Allspace. The rear is also very busy with dark red LED tail lamps with a new signature and a chrome beltline running across the width of the rear bumper and fake exhaust tips. The overall design language is in tune with the latest SUVs from Volkswagen.
