Citroen C5 Aircross vs Ford Endeavour – Exteriors and Dimensions
The exteriors of the C5 Aircross are distinctive, to say the least. Although there are plenty of SUVs around in our market, you can never mistake the C5 Aircross for anything else. The typical square theme all across the body gives it a very sporty look. The sleek parallel chrome lines on the front grille, along with the LED DRLs on the bonnet do look modern. The LED headlamp unit just below the DRLs and squared-off air dams on the front bumper sure lets you know that it is a typical Citroen. To make sure that you can take a ton of luggage, there is a generous 580-litres of boot space which can be increased to 720-litres by sliding the seats forward and to a massive 1,630-litres by folding the second-row seats completely.

The Ford Endeavour, on the other hand, is a hardcore off-roading vehicle that has a ton of focus on the luxury and comfort of the passengers as well. It is trying to strike a balance between being a lifestyle vehicle and a hardcore machine with some serious off-roading capabilities. The front end features a Chrome Radiator and Fender Grille, Bi-LED Headlamps, LED DRLs, Front Skid Plates on the bumper and bright roof rails. The sides indicate the long almost 5 m length of the car with large wheels arches and premium 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles and much more. Comin got the rear, there are LED tail lamps, Rear Roof Spoiler, High mount stop light and skid plates on the sporty bumper down below. Overall, the dimensions and rugged build quality represent a proper full-size SUV that extends an imposing road presence to the Endeavour.

The dimensions of the Ford Endeavour clearly triumph those of the Citroen C5 Aircross. In terms of overall dimensions including wheelbase, the Endeavour is a much bigger car. But C5 Aircross, being a 5-seater SUV, is apt for its dimensions. There is plenty of space inside both these SUVs for the purpose that they serve.

The Ford Endeavour also comes with a 2.0-litre diesel engine making 175 PS of peak power and 420 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties are carried by a 10-speed automatic gearbox which allows for an efficient drive because of options of 10 gear which enables the vehicle to be in the ideal operating range at all times. The comparison of these two premium SUVs is like-to-like in terms of the powertrain options available with both vehicles. Both these SUVs come with a sole diesel engine and make almost similar power and torque outputs as well. Therefore, to choose any one of these solely depends on the requirements that one has. These two SUVs are completely different in their character. If you are looking for an SUV with premium features and the focus is largely on comfort and conveniences, then you can opt for the Citroen C5 Aircross. If, however, you are someone who loves to go off-roading fairly often and want a vehicle that can quench your thirst for that, you will definitely be better of with the Ford Endeavour.
