Nissan Magnite – Sales Figures and Production Stats

The Nissan Magnite has been working the manufacturing facility to the full potential. Starting from December 2020, almost all the sales of Nissan have come from just the Magnite. The Nissan Kicks and GT-R are not driving the sales figures significantly. In the month of February 2021, Nissan managed to sell around 3,000 units of the Magnite in our market. This trend continued the next month as well with around the same 3,000 units being sold in March as well. This indicates a steady growth trend for the OEM. Currently, the manufacturing facility of Nissan is running at its full potential with around 2,800 units. Nissan is planning to increase this number to meet the demands of the customers. This will eventually bring down the waiting time for the Magnite, which is upto 8 months in some cities. Also, another factor hampering the potential production of automobiles, in general, is the shortage of semiconductors across the globe. Almost all the car manufacturers are suffering from this issue and it is likely to continue even more with the conditions getting even worse day by day due to the pandemic.
