2021 Isuzu V-Cross – Exteriors

The updated Isuzu V-Cross family of pickup trucks comes with a modern-looking exterior design. In terms of the overall exterior design and dimensions, the 2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is too different than the outgoing model. The front end features similar-looking Bi-LED Projector Headlamps, LED DLRs for the modern looks, Shark-fin Antenna with Gun-metal Finish, Front Fog lamps with chrome bezels, a chunky bold front grille and broad bumpers for a great road presence. The Hi-Lander variants feature a grey front grille compared to the Z and higher trims which feature a chrome grille. The sides show the actual over 5m length of the SUV along with a massive over 3m long wheelbase which will make sure that the second-row passengers are sat comfortably with ample space. There are large 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, blacked-out B-Pillars and side steps to enhance the accessibility during ingress and egress. The rear also features the LED tail lamp unit and large cargo space because of being a pick-up truck. Isuzu is calling the overall appearance of its trucks sharp, aggressive and solid and we don’t disagree with that statement one bit.

2021 Isuzu V-Cross – Engines, Transmissions and Prices

The 2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross comes powered by a BS6 compliant 1.9-litre Common Rail diesel engine with Variable Turbo Geometry Turbocharger making 161 hp of peak power and 360 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options involve a 6-speed manual as well as automatic options. It will also feature a Shift-on-the-fly 4×4 system with High Torque Mode and High Ride Suspension for better off-road capabilities. To make the engine BS6 compliant there is plenty of tech like the LNT (Lean NOx Trap), DPD (Diesel Particular Diffuser) and Active Selective Catalyst Reduction which makes the V-Cross a lot more expensive than the outgoing model. The prices of the Isuzu are Rs 19.98 lakh for the 4×2 Z variant, Rs 20.98 lakh for the 4×4 Z variant and Rs 24.49 lakh for the 4×4 Z Prestige variant, ex-showroom.
