Hyundai Alcazar vs Tata Safari – Exteriors and Dimensions
The recently launched Alcazar features Hyundai’s sensual design language and looks ultra-modern. The front fascia of the Alcazar is clearly inspired by the Creta but there are key differences between the two. It features the Trio-Beam LED Headlamps and DRLs along with the bold and broad front grille with a completely different and attractive pattern with a chrome finish. The usage of chrome on the face is rather generous. The characteristic sculpted creases on the sides are new and the 18-inch Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels are of completely different design as well. The side step will ensure easy ingress and egress for the passengers and the roof rails will enhance the practicality aspect. There is an appearance of a ring structure on the B-Pillar and D-Pillar which looks really sporty and modern and gives an entirely new dimension to the SUV. Hyundai claims that this will improve the rigidity for better handling. The rear end features a split LED taillamp setup along with a thick chrome slab connecting the two taillamps and Alcazar engraved on it. The bumper below hosts the sporty skid plate and there is also the shark fin antenna.

The Safari is the longer version of the Harrier which is already one of the better-looking SUVs around. The front end resembles the Harrier with the LED DRLs on the bonnet, Xenon HID Projector headlamp unit on the bonnet and the chrome Tri-arrow marking on the front grille. The side lets you know the length and the typical silhouette of the Safari with the stepped-up rear roof and roof rails. The large 18-inch machined alloys make the SUV look bold and muscular. The rear looks sporty with LED tail lamps connected by a blacked-out glass housing. Overall, the flagship offering from Tata Motors does look premium enough from the outside.
