Mountune has launched a new tuning kit for the new Ford Puma ST and Fiesta ST, which boosts power and torque to 256bhp and 365Nm.
With the new m260 pack installed, the front-drive Fiesta ST edges towards offering levels of performance delivered by the significantly more expensive 257bhp Toyota GR Yaris, although its Japanese rival should still be quicker of the two off the line, thanks to its all-wheel drive.

The kit includes an induction kit, charge kit and intercooler and costs £675, while previous owners who had already upgraded their Fiesta ST with the m230, or earlier m225 kit will be charged £99 for the more powerful engine re-map.
As well as more power, both kits are also said to enhance the exhaust noise, introduce a more aggressive launch control and a new anti-theft mode. Both the factory-fit particulate filter and catalytic converter remains in place and undisturbed.
“The Fiesta ST is a platform that we already know well from our m225 and m235 power upgrades, but m260 really improves this already impressive vehicle even further," said Mountune's founder, David Mountain, adding: "Fiesta ST owners are a dedicated bunch who love getting as much performance as they can out of their cars, and we can’t wait to start delivering our latest power upgrade to them.”
Like before, owners who upgrade with Mountune can alter their engine calibration using the tuner's own Smartflash smartphone or tablet app.
The m235 upgrade already offered on the Fiesta ST is now offered on the Puma ST SUV, taking power to 232bhp and 350Nm of torque. This package is priced from £575.
