Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Now COSTLIER Than Dominar 250

Bajaj Auto Ltd has revised the prices of its most of its motorcycles. With this, the new-age Pulsar 160cc and 200cc range, which includes the NS160, NS200 and RS200, has got significantly costlier while the NS125 has remained unaffected. Interesting, though, the Bajaj Dominar 250 has got a price cut of Rs 16,800 and now costs even lesser than the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. In the words of the manufacturer, the latest price cut on the Dominar 250 will encourage motorcycle buyers to “take their first step into the world of touring.”

The Bajaj RS200 now costs Rs 1,61,805, which is Rs 5,005 more than before, while the Dominar 250, at Rs 1,54,176, is significantly more affordable than before and even undercuts its fully-faired 200cc sibling. Meanwhile, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 twin disc variant costs Rs 1,14,323 (up from Rs 1,12,192) and the Pulsar NS200 costs Rs 1,38,842 (up from Rs 1,34,650). Like we said, the NS125 remains unaffected, which means it continues to retail at Rs 95,187. This is the second price update for the RS200 and NS200 since April 2020, when prices of the fully-faired 200cc Pulsar were increased by Rs 3,033 at the back of the introduction of the BS6 model. Meanwhile, the Dominar 250 was launched in March 2020 at Rs 1,60,000 and later received a price update.

Powering the Bajaj Dominar 250 is a liquid-cooled 248.8cc DOHC single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power of 27 PS and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. It even offers many of the segment-best features of the Dominar 400, including the up-side-down (USD) forks, twin-barrel exhaust, bungee straps tucked under the seat to help secure luggage, updated secondary display that shows time and trip information, and spacecraft inspired tank pad decals. The 250cc Dominar can be bought across all authorized dealerships in any of the two colour options- Canyon Red and Charcoal Black.  On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 draws power from a 199.5cc single-cylinder fuel-injected liquid-cooled DTS-i engine that outputs 24.5PS and 18.7Nm.
