The Tata Nexon is one of the most underrated choices in the rapidly growing subcompact SUV segment. Though the headlines may be taken by the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, or the new Renault Kiger, the Nexon is just as good as its competitors. Tata Motors’s subcompact SUV offers feature-loaded trim levels, a spacious cabin with the great build quality, multiple powertrain options, class-best safety features, and attractive pricing. The Nexon also received a mid-life refresh last year that gave it a redesigned front-end and added even more features. Consumers have also been warming up to the subcompact SUV with its new design and safety features, the Nexon seeing an upturn in sales over the last year. The Nexon is also quite easy to customize as aftermarket accessories are widely available. Today we came across this HUD for the Nexon that looks value-for-money.

The video has been uploaded by Voyagers on Wheels on YouTube. The aftermarket HUD comes in generic packaging, and only a few details of the manufacturer is printed. After the unboxing, the video moves to the installation part of the HUD in the Tata Nexon. Connecting it is fairly easy as it uses an OEM port, meaning you do not need to cut any wires and void the warranty. After placing it on top of the instrument binnacle, we can see the HUD working fine but isn’t projecting the image sharply enough. A HUD can be very useful as it projects relevant information directly on the driver’s eye line instead of having to look down at the instrument cluster. The HUD is priced at Rs 2,499 and can be bought directly from Amazon.
