In the latest teaser video from the Indian SUV maker, we get a generous glimpse of the front bucket seats of the upcoming 7-seat Mahindra XUV700. The new SUV has been a buzzword for a long time now. The potential customers and automobile experts, alike, are quite excited for the launch on Aug 14, 2021. If you are also enamoured by the exquisite and premium features list on offer on the Mahindra XUV700, then mark your calendars. The Mahindra XUV700 will replace the existing XUV500 in our market and rival the likes of Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar in the 7-seat mid-size SUV segment. By the looks of it, the XUV700 will have the most feature-rich cabin in its class by a huge margin. The video teaser by Mahindra on the XUV700 YouTube channel allows us a brief tour inside the SUV. Mahindra XUV700 Interior Video
The video starts with an overview of the front seating layout along with the centre console. The seats look quite premium with ventilated and perforated leather upholstery, double-stitched pattern and massive under-thigh and side bolstering which are all traits of the premium cabin. Then the piano-black finish centre console is another premium addition with an electronic parking brake, dials for the drive modes, centre armrest, cup holders and much more.

Earlier, we have already seen some unique features on offer like a large connected dual-screen setup for the Infotainment System and Driver’s Instrument Cluster, AdrenoX Connected Car Tech App with Alexa Support, and Premium 3D Surround System by Sony, Auto Booster Headlamps which increases the intensity of lights after the driver crosses the speed of 80 kmph, Smart Door Handles with proximity sensors, Customized Safety Alerts with personalized alert notes, Smart Air Purifier, Stylish Alloy Wheel Design, Driver Drowsiness Monitoring Alert and Boss Mode feature for the seat adjustment.

Expected Specs and Prices
The powertrain options for the Mahindra XUV700 will include a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with direct injection technology from Mahindra’s very own mStallion range of engines, making 190 hp and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre tried and tested diesel engine that might be tuned to put out around 185 hp of max power. There will be options of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes with these engines. The SUV will even offer Drive Modes (Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom) on the diesel variants. The prices of the Mahindra XUV700 are expected to be in the range of Rs 16 lakh to Rs 22 lakh, ex-showroom.
