In this video, a truck is seen on the road immediately after the impact. The details of how the accident happened are unknown. But Tata Nexon was hit from the side. The driver’s side door was hit by the front of the truck. The truck must’ve tried to stop but could not. Nexon seems to be crossing the road. But the side panel, door and fender seemed to have taken the brunt of the impact. However, the dent and damage aren’t much considering that it was hit by a truck head-on. Reportedly, the driver fainted because of the impact and was rushed to the hospital. But there were no injures sustained by any party. This is a testament to Tata’s build quality that it was still able to take the collision and protect its occupants. That is why one should always consider the safety aspect before buying a new vehicle.

Tata Nexon comes with 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel. Both the engine variants are on sale with two transmission options – 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT. The prices of the Tata Nexon range between Rs 7.28 lakh and Rs 13.23 lakh, ex-showroom.
