In a case of absolute shock, a brand new Tata Harrier has fit and finish issues from Day 1. Harrier is one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in India after the likes of Creta and Seltos. People love that the Harrier provides luxurious cabin features and ambiance compared to the Koreans. Tata’s build quality also added to the appeal of the Harrier for a whole lot of customers. However, some images have evolved which highlights the poor fit and finish at various parts of the Tata Harrier. Tata Harrier Fit & Finish
As is clear from the images above, the Harrier had issues from Day 1. This includes things like a scratch on the front bumper which is clearly visible, noises when brakes are applied and unfinished or poorly finished rubber linings around all the door windows. Having seen this, the owner asked the service centre to take back the vehicle to get these things fixed. The dealership took 1 week to pick up the car. After inspection, they declared that these issues are common in other Tata cars as well. Safari and Nexon also have the rubber lining issue. Hence, it is not possible to fix it as it is common. This was the reply of the person in charge at the service centre. The owner was stressed out after spending close to Rs 23 lakh on a vehicle, he is getting such basic quality, fit and finish issues. Tata should take care of these things if they want to keep the competition interesting with the rivals.

Harrier – Specs
Tata Harrier comes with a sole 2.0-litre diesel engine that belts out 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. The transmission duties are carried by either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The prices of the mid-size SUV range between Rs 14.39 lakh and Rs 21.09 lakh, ex-showroom. The mid-size SUV segment has become even more interesting after the arrival of MG Astor and Mahindra XUV700.
