Has This Skoda Kushaq Owner Found Solution to EPC Problem?

This will be good news for Skoda Kushaq owners if this solution works for the dreaded EPC problem in the SUVs. Ever since the launch of the Kushaq, the social media platforms have been flooded with owners’ complaints regarding the EPC problem in the brand new cars. It has reached a point where it might start affecting the sales of the mid-size Creta-rivalling SUV. People were already concerned with the premium pricing and lack of features (compared to the likes of Creta and Seltos) in the Kushaq. But still many opted to go for it anyway considering the build quality and driveability of Skoda products in the past. However, the EPC problem has left many stranded on the roads, literally. The SUV had to be towed away to the service workshop to get fixed. What’s worse is that the problem is still recurring. It seems that the Czech carmaker hasn’t quite figured out the root cause yet. Perhaps, this solution from a Kushaq owner might work.

Kushaq EPC Problem Solution?

As the Skoda Kushaq owner explains, he had driven around 2200 km in his brand new SUV without facing any issues. However, after he refuelled his car at a desolate petrol pump, he started getting the EPC error. He immediately felt the accelerator pedal jerky suggesting something was wrong. He took the SUV to a nearby Skoda service centre. They fixed the SUV and told him/her that the problem will not bother him/her now. However, after a couple of weeks, the SUV just stalled and had to be towed away to the workshop again. This time around, the mechanics decided to empty the fuel entirely and replace the fuel pump. Thereafter, the owner has not experienced any EPC problems anymore. This is also true for a bunch of other people where the fuel pump replacement is working to some degree. This Kushaq owner ensures now that the fuel tank remains more than 50% all the time.
