7-seater Skoda Kushaq Could Make For a Decent Hyundai Alcazar Rival!

Here is a digitally rendered 7-seater Skoda Kushaq which could be a worthy rival to the Hyundai Alcazar. The Alcazar is based on the popular Creta mid-size SUV. The 7-seat version of the Kushaq is a stretched wheelbase version. The 7-seat mid-size SUV segment is experiencing great traction from customers these days. The practicality it offers at a relatively decent price point enhances the value for money aspect of this segment. There have been new players in this segment and the products include the likes of Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700. For people who don’t want to do serious off-roading in a 7-seater like the Fortuner or Gloster, SUVs from this segment make sense. Let us go through the details of this 7-seater Kushaq (Alcazar rival).

The automobile designer has ensured that the front and rear of the SUV remain unchanged. The original version is famed for its sharp design and typical Skoda design languages. It makes sense to stick to the stock exterior. However, the key difference between this in comparison to regular Kushaq becomes apparent on the sides. The wheelbase has been stretched and the rear overhang is extended. This is done in order to accommodate the third row of seating. Another point of difference is the addition of the D-pillar for the quarter glass for the last row of passengers. The roof rails have been extended to cover the entire length of the roof. The characteristic creases are redone to suit the extended version. All in all, this 7-seater version looks like a worthy rival to the Hyundai Alcazar.
