The Dark Edition of the Tata Harrier is spotted severely damaged. The parts of the vehicle were seen detached on the side of the road. The details of the accident are not clear. But it is said that the reason could be overspeeding. This happened in Mumbai according to the details on the Facebook post. It seems that SUV hit the pavement and the left tyre has completely come off. The bumper has been affected by the impact. The rear section also is against the side pavement. Reportedly, no one was injured. There is also no signs of damage to the exterior of the vehicle to any other part. The side body panels also look like they have not been impacted at all. This is a testament to the build quality of Tata Motors that even after such a high-speed collision, no one sustained serious injuries.

Specs

Tata Harrier comes with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that belts out 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. The transmission duties are carried by either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. The prices of the Harrie range between Rs 14.39 lakh and Rs 21.09 lakh, ex-showroom. There is no option of a 4×4 drive system yet. But the architecture on which the Harrier is built supports the incorporation of a 4×4 drive system at a later stage if required. The competitors include MG Hector and the recently launched Mahindra XUV700.
