We expect the next generation Yeti to be at least as dynamically sorted as the current model. Unlike the current Yeti’s quirky looks, the 2017 Skoda Yeti will have a conventional crossover styling. The new Skoda Yeti 2017 release date should fall in mid-2017. It is very likely to make its global debut at either the 2017 Geneva Motor Show or the 2017 Paris Motor Show. Subsequently, the new model Skoda Yeti will make its India debut at the 2018 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The India launch of the 2017 Skoda Yeti could happen in the festive season of 2018.

The new Skoda Yeti 2017 will feature a set of modern petrol and diesel engines. The Diesel motor for India could be the familiar 2.0 TDI Turbo Diesel unit that outputs 140 PS and 320 Nm. The Petrol engine for India could be the 1.8 TSI Turbo Petrol engine that offers 180 PS-250 Nm. While the Diesel engine gets a 6-Speed DSG Automatic, the Petrol motor gets a 7-Speed DSG. We expect Octavia-like performance numbers as engine specs are pretty much the same.

The grille will be wide and connect both the headlamps. Highlights of the side profile would include bold wheel arches, bold creases and large alloys. The rear-end will have sleek LED taillamps and a rather steeply raking roofline.
