That’s particularly the case if you’re considering the fifth-generation Corsa that is the subject of our latest Used Car Video Review, which you can watch below and on the CarGurus UK YouTube channel. That’s because although strictly speaking this car is developed from the fourth-generation Corsa and offers basically the same amount of space, it has also been extensively improved to deliver a more refined driving experience, higher levels of equipment (heated steering wheel anybody?) and smarter styling.
The introduction of Vauxhall’s excellent 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine helps here too, churning out smooth performance regardless of whether you go for the 90 horsepower or 115 horsepower version. The downside is that a car with this engine is more expensive to buy than other Corsas, but with a range that includes three- and five-door body styles, petrol or diesel engines and performance that goes from slow and steady all the way up to the rapid VXR there should be a model to suit every budget.
