Hero XPulse 200 India Launch Within This Fiscal Year – Report

India’s most affordable adventure bike, the Hero Xpulse 200 India launch is happening in this fiscal year. It will replace the extinct average play, Impulse. We expect the ADV bike to be priced around Rs 1 Lakhs. It will compete with the much powerful. Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Adventure bikes are not much popular in India. Affordable ones include only the Himalayan. Well, the newly launched BMW G 310 GS is also not that high priced, but Rs 3.5 Lakhs might still not attract some. Earlier, there was also the Hero Impulse, which did not turn out to be good enough. Now, the upcoming Xpulse 200 looks like it can make its mark. According to the latest report, the Hero Xpulse 200 India Launch will happen this fiscal year. The latest news has been confirmed by Hero Motocorp, as they plan new launches in the September-October period. The Xpulse will be a 200cc bike with fuel injection system and a 6-speed transmission. Expect the bike to be priced around Rs 1 Lakhs, because recently Hero stated that its most of the premium bikes would be priced near Rs 1 Lakh.

The features of the bike would include LED headlamps, fully digital instrument cluster, engine kill switch and a GPS navigation assist on the cluster. For better off-roading, it gets a high-set beak-shape front mudguard, knuckle guards, engine skid plate, upswept exhaust muffler and dual-purpose tires. For safety, it gets front and rear disc brakes along with ABS, which can be disabled for off-roading.

The bike sports a 200cc fuel injected engine which churns out 18 BHP of power and 17 Nm of torque. The estimated mileage of the bike is around 40 KMPL. It weighs around 140 kgs, which is decent for better acceleration and improved mileage. The engine of this bike comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. This same engine is used in the upcoming Hero Xtreme 200R, with nearly same power outputs. However, the Xtreme gets a 5-speed instead of the 6-speed used in Xpulse.

In terms of design, it looks much sleek and toned. The front end of the body gets a round LED headlamp and a high shape beak like mudguard. At the rear end, the exhaust is at a good height, which is good for wading water while off-roading. Overall, it gets a tall stance with slim tyres, which might be pretty good for touring and off-roading activities.
